Depending on your eligibility, the University offers healthcare coverage, dental coverage, flexible spending accounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), pre-tax transit and parking reimbursement, retirement benefits, tuition programs and more.

  • New Drug Provider: OptumRx is now Columbia University’s prescription drug provider. Your new UHC ID card includes both medical and prescription information. IMPORTANT: Cigna is the new carrier for the University’s life insurance, disability and emergency travel benefits. (If you are a J-1 Visa holder, UnitedHealthcare Global will administer your emergency travel benefits.)
