New Hire Orientation

The New Hire Orientation - Morningside and Manhattanville Campus program is a dynamic event designed to welcome new hires to Columbia University. The Program will introduce University leadership, key departments, onboarding tips, campus safety, as well as a broad overview of University work/life and healthcare benefits.
Orientation is held approximately every two weeks at the Manhattanville campus. Continental breakfast will be served as you network with other new colleagues. All participants will receive an official new hire welcome package.

Who Should Attend?

All Faculty, Officers of Instruction, Officers of Research, Officers of the Libraries and Administrative Officers, Union and Non-Union Support Staff who work on the Morningside or Manhattanville campus. If you are located at the Medical Center, please visit CUIMC for orientation information.
It is strongly recommended new hires register for orientation within your first two weeks to ensure benefits enrollment is completed by the requisite first 30 days of being hired.
