Morningside Faculty and Staff Orientation: Welcome Program
Orientation is a timely opportunity for all new Faculty and Staff to explore life and resources at Columbia, as well as to learn about the benefits that suit your personal needs. This program is a helpful way to start employment on the right informational track.
It is strongly recommended that new hires attend within the first 30 days of being hired, as close to their first day of work as possible. We also ask that new hires bring, for their reference, the Benefits Enrollment Kit, obtained from their manager or Departmental Administrator.
Please be advised that seating is limited. To be assured of a seat, you must arrive by the scheduled start time.
Refreshments are served.
Location
Orientation is held in the Studebaker building, 615 West 131st Street, Room 469.
Effective May 7, 2012: The main entrance to the Studebaker building will be relocated to the north side of the building on West 132nd Street for a period of approximately 14 months due to the closure of West 131st Street. As a result, the Intercampus Shuttle stops will change. Heading northbound, the "Studebaker North" stop location will be relocated to the NE corner of Broadway and 132nd Street. Heading southbound, the "Studebaker South" stop location will be relocated to the new West 132nd Street Studebaker Building entrance (on the north side of the street in front of the MTA security booth.) Please note that beginning May 21, 2012 when the Intercampus Shuttle summer schedule is in effect, the "Studebaker South" stop location will be at the SW corner of 132nd and Broadway.
The intercampus shuttle will take you to Studebaker from any CU campus. For more information on the intercampus shuttle schedule and downloadable maps, please visit Columbia University Transportation Services.
